To Whom It May Concern:
This letter of recommendation is for MSI, under the management of Morris
Ibge.
We engaged MSI's services in May 2007, asking that Morris and his crew
renovate the unfinished basement in our Columbia Heights row house
by turning it into an in-law suite. This was to be a big job; it
involved not only starting from bare surfaces, but also trenching
the concrete floor to accommodate a new kitchen and bathroom, and
then building out an all new living space.
Over the course of the project, we found that the quality of the workmanship was very high. …… Morris and his crew delivered the core features of the space flawlessly. It is very reassuring to have complete confidence that the pipes won't leak, the lines won't short, and everything will work as it should, this the best value of MSI's work.
When we started collecting bids from contractors, one of our requirements was that they had to complete the job quickly. …..Morris and his crew delivered within a very tight time frame, and completed the project on time.
We can fully recommend MSI for projects where the owner wants a job completed safely, accurately, and on time, without worrying about providing all of the directions or specifications for the project. Morris arrives on the site with a vision of the project at completion, and this can be a great asset for any project that need to jump quickly from "planning" to "get it done".
Please consider MSI Construction for your next renovation project with our recommendation.
Sincerely,
Matt Veltkamp

To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is to share my experience with working with Morris of
MSI Construction to have exposed
piping in a garage insulated and a ceiling installed. Morris
has much larger jobs than mine, but through the course of this job
he made it a priority and worked each day until the job was complete.
Morris is honest and communicative. Any worries, concerns or check
ups are always respected and often communication is initiated by
Morris. He is very easy going, personable, and responsive. Morris
also brings experience to the job which benefits his customers because
he has foresight for ideas. He made some simple suggestions on smart
ideas which did not occur to me. He doesn't pressure his customers
and in the end a better, more thoughtful job is accomplished in
a forthright manner. Morris is frank, does what he says he is going
to do, and is trustworthy. He is also generous as he did some additional
work free of charge. Good luck on your endeavor. You can feel secure
in your choice of Morris to get your job done.

Dear Morris:
Prior to meeting you earlier this summer, my faith had faded in
trying to ever find a construction company that would truly do a
quality job. This letter is offered as my sincerest thanks for you
are a "true man of your word." You are a mastermind. From our initial
meeting, through my various alterations, and then through final
construction, you and your crew were attentive, thoughtful, and
extreme professionals which made the whole project an absolutely
pleasant experience. I appreciated your patience, guidance, and
valued your judgment every step of the way. I had no idea of all
the work that goes into making a project such as this go so smoothly.
I only know that the end result has exceeded all my expectations.
Professional, efficient, prompt, considerate, and attentive to details...
that's how I would describe my experience with MSI Construction.
The workmanship, craftsmanship, and congeniality of your employees
were exceptional. Would you please thank each one of them again.
I had lived 13 years with just looking out the windows into the
back yard. I finally have the opportunity to sit
out on a gorgeous deck and enjoy a book or an espresso. As for
the basement,
it was a tough decision, but I now rent it out. The piece de resistance...
my fabulous
new kitchen! I absolutely love it. I believe it to be the most
beautiful kitchen in Stafford, Virginia.
Your creative mind turned a boring, drab kitchen into a beautiful
design unique to me. Instead of creating another cookie-cutter
kitchen, you utilized my limited space so that I now fully utilize
my appliances, cabinetry, and counter space. You suggested solutions
that I had not previously thought of. The upstairs hardwood floor
is a masterpiece in itself; in this world of faux wood and laminates,
I am really impressed with the work and care that was taken to
install my wood flooring. A special thank you for the "designer"
laundry room floor.
So, again, thank you for all the exceptional work you did to turn my boring house into a home I
am proud of. My friends and neighbors have unanimously agreed with my conclusion; you did a terrific job!
Thank you for completing my last minute request to my family room
of transitioning from a non-used French door to a closed wall, this
makes the room more comfortable and my gas bill has been drastically
reduced from past years. You delivered exactly what you promised.
I think it turned out even better than I had anticipated! Thank
you for another
beautiful remodeled room! The two most amazing things I noticed...
1) you were at my home each day working with your crew instead of
drumming up more business, and 2) each project had a projected completion
date and each time you completed it on schedule... how in the world
did you manage to accomplish this? My only regret... too many headaches
before I found you.
Merci beaucoup!

To Whom It May Concern:
We recently used Morris / MSI Construction for a home
improvement project. What started out as a
basic bathroom and closet expansion in one bedroom turned into
an entire home project, with almost no room untouched. We approached
Morris with the simple idea, and he agreed to help us pursue it.
He indicated that he would be available shortly and that we could
start the project right away, in early December. True to his word,
Morris was there when he promised and we began on time. He kept
telling us not to limit our vision using the existing room design
but as the room could look when they took down walls. Sure enough
once we started the job, our idea of what we could do with the space,
indeed changed and we modified the design. Morris never once limited
the design to what we previously agreed to; rather he welcomed the
evolution of the design to match our tastes and lifestyle. We challenged
each other to design spaces for how we use them. We even had him
install cable outlets in places where we thought we would use TV's.
Morris went above and beyond what a typical contractor would do
painting each room and never saying it was finished until we were
completely satisfied. Many of these involved continual struggles
with his suppliers, who failed to deliver items when promised. Morris
kept us informed of these developments, and absorbed additional
expenses forced on him by them. He also took it upon himself to
suggest additional improvements to other rooms in the house and
when we agreed with the ideas, performed the work with no additional
charge. He even graced us with gifts to complement the Spaces when
finished. In sum: Morris did the job he agreed to do. On time. and
on budget. He kept us informed and was always concerned that we
were satisfied and happy' with the work. He is a pleasure to work
with and we would highly recommend him.

Dear Morris,
Thank you so much for the wonderful remodeling
work on my former condominium. As a homeowner, it is difficult
to find a contractor to trust. I trusted you from the very beginning
and I was never disappointed. From the choice of
flooring to your recommendation to upgrade my bathroom tile,
you never lead me astray. I counted on your advice to help me make
the best decisions for a property that I was going to sell. The
upgrades made the condominium look spectacular. I would have never
thought that simply replacing plain white doors with paneled doors
could make such an amazing difference. My property
sold for 25% above list price! Much of that was due to you and
the quality of your work. And, I had a lot of fun working with you.

after meeting you and have you as a contractor, I feel as though
you are part of my family. I trust you completely and have been
so impressed with all of the work that you did for me in my kitchen.
Everything looks so beautiful!!! All of your recommendations and
opinions regarding the cabinets,
countertops, and even the backsplash were so on point!!! ....
You are a class act, Morris! Your work is always impeccable and it is so clear that you take great pride in your work. You are so honest and trustworthy that I never worried about you being in my home when I was not there. ..... You were so courteous about getting the work done when you said you would and with making sure that you timed ordering of cabinets, countertops, etc. perfectly so that I did not have to incur additional unnecessary expenses with eating out, etc..... You will always have my 100% recommendation....

Dear Sir/Madam: When you hire Morris Egbi, you are not just hiring a contractor, but you are hiring and artist.
I interviewed 8 contractors before hiring Morris. He was the only one to show up on time; the only one to present his estimate on
time; and the only one to suggest and provide acceptable alternatives for my specific construction needs. All of his ideas
greatly enhanced my new deck. And, unbelievably, many of the ideas he undertook at his own expense!
Upon finishing my
new deck with a nine person capacity Jacuzzi on top, I have
received rave reviews from friends, neighbors, and passing contractors,
all who have never seen steel beams incorporated into a deck design.
Immediately upon finishing my deck Morris took over the complete
renovation
of my basement apartment, which I had mistakenly undertaken
to do myself. I estimate that ir would have taken me several months
and thousands of dollars to do what took Morris a week at a fraction
of the cost.
Now I am looking forward to renovating my kitchen and the rest of my home to match the parts Morris has blessed with his touch.
Morris will always be part of my family.
